Neuro-Metabolic Activity Mapper (NMAM)

Compact Neuro Visualization Device

NMAM is particularly valuable for practitioners utilizing:
  • Transcranial Micropolarization (TCMP)
  • Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
  • Electro- and vibrostimulation
  • Sensory stimulation therapies
  • Acupuncture
  • Physiotherapy
  • Oriental wellness practices (e.g., yoga, qigong)
  • Osteopathy and therapeutic massage

In these contexts, neuro-metabolic mapping provides a powerful tool for evaluating brain function and the efficacy of interventions.
The growing use of modern brain stimulation techniques in clinical and rehabilitation settings necessitates accurate, real-time feedback and long-term visualization of treatment effects. The Neuro-Metabolic Activity Mapper (NMAM) offers a reliable, cost-effective solution for assessing cerebral metabolic activity with high precision.
How It Works
The NMAM system is based on the registration, decoding, and interpretation of ultra-slow brain electrical activity. Unlike traditional neuroimaging technologies, NMAM is the only compact system accessible for use by non-medical personnel, making it ideal for clinical psychologists, neuropsychologists, psychophysiologists, and other allied health professionals.
To facilitate this accessibility, we developed a dedicated version of the system—the five-channel Neuro-Amea Recorder—optimized for simplicity, accuracy, and real-time data collection.
Key Benefits of NMAM
Reported by our clients, the primary advantages include:

  • Evidence-based methodology
  • No contraindications or patient stimulation
  • Minimal stress on patients
  • Compact and portable (requires only a laptop)
  • Low operating cost with no need for consumables
  • Easy to learn and operate
  • Compatible with standard data interpretation techniques
  • Enables continuous monitoring during rest, activity, or treatment
The system generates a dynamic cerebral activity map that can be recorded during various states—rest, physical activity, or therapeutic intervention. Each patient’s brain activity is continuously compared against an age-matched model map derived from healthy individuals. This comparison enables accurate assessment of neurological deviations and dysfunctions.
NMAM is used to:
  • Select personalized treatment plans or medication regimens
  • Assess treatment efficacy over time
  • Determine appropriate cognitive and physical loading
  • Identify and monitor stress-related conditions
  • Track rehabilitation progress
  • Support neurofeedback and biofeedback therapy
