Clinical Case Analysis (“Before–After”)

  1. ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) Before therapy:
The patient exhibited significant reduction in activity in the frontal lobes and right temporal cortex, leading to weakened behavioral control mechanisms and reduced attentional function. However, the primary brain block responsible for the activation of higher-order cortical structures was functioning normally. The issue primarily involved the cerebral cortex, particularly the frontal regions.
After therapy (Transcranial Electrical Stimulation + TOMATIS Therapy):
  • General improvement in brain bioelectrical potentials
  • Activation of the frontal cortex
  • Increased cortical activity in the right hemisphere
  • Improved interhemispheric asymmetry (enhanced cooperation between hemispheres)

Outcome:
Restored attentional capacity and behavioral regulation. Normalization of behavior and academic performance at school.

Clinical Case Analysis (“Before–After”)

2. Headache Episode Before treatment:
The patient experienced severe pain localized in the right hemisphere.
Clinical signs indicated vascular spasm and a significant increase in DC-potentials values in the right hemisphere.
After 40 minutes of taking the analgesic prescribed by the attending physician:
  • Reduction in DC-potentials levels in the right hemisphere
  • Pain was resolved
  • Residual signs of vascular dysfunction in the right hemisphere remained

Clinical Case Analysis (“Before–After”)

3. Cerebral Blood Flow Disturbance Due to Cervical Spine Disorder Initial condition:
The patient was diagnosed with cervical osteochondrosis.
Ultrasound imaging (Doppler) revealed muscular compression of arteries supplying the brain.
Symptoms included:
  • Episodes of dizziness
  • Occipital headaches
  • Gait disturbances
  • Memory and attention impairments
Diagnosis: Vertebrobasilar insufficiency
Functional diagnostics showed:
  • Significant elevation in DC-potentials in the occipital region
  • Reduced activity in frontal structures
After osteopathic treatment session:
  • Optimization of DC-potentials in the occipital and frontal lobes, attributed to restoration of cerebral blood flow
  • General improvement in the patient's condition
